Students were asked - what is the most important thing to know about this rental company?

  1. Criminally expensive. Cute, but poorly built. Amenities were always broken, despite being the first [tenants] to ever live there. (March 2024)
  2. If you want high rent with few amenities/events live here. 1st yr open: events & low rent, now (3rd yr open): no events & high rent. (January 2024)
  3. MANY issues with communication with the office. My friend was not able to be my roommate because they messed up her paperwork. (January 2024)
  4. This place is party-central. There is puke everywhere, including the pool. Friends of staff get special treatment. (January 2024)
  5. The price is high, and make sure to sign up for parking. The place is good otherwise. (January 2024)
  6. The Finmore is way too expensive for one unit. One unit with 4 roommates overall costs over $4,000. For one room to be $1000 for 4 beds crazy. (January 2024)
  7. A bit expensive, but worth it if [you can afford it]. Parking is a must-get, which is also another cost. (January 2024)
  8. The cost of this rental company is very high. While it is a good place to be, the amenities and the way things break often are not worth it. (January 2024)
  9. Everything they say is great about the apartment never works. The hot tub is always closed and internet is never working properly. (January 2024)
  10. Hot tub was always closed. Constant problem with the main unit door lock, dishwasher would flood, nasty hallways due to dogs/sorry tenants. (January 2024)
  11. At least for a two bedroom unit, there is only one parking pass per unit, meaning one of you will not have a parking spot on property. (January 2024)
  12. Not worth the price per month. (January 2024)
  13. The place is nice, but built fast and not done great. Has had mold in just the 3 years it has been open, as well as half the building flooded. (January 2024)
  14. They overcharge here, but they overcharge everywhere. Lease signing is 8-9 months before you can even move in. Bad parking, predatory company. (January 2024)
  15. It is very expensive, not fully worth the cost. Unfortunately, this tends to be the same for nearly every rental in all of Boone. (January 2024)
  16. Its only good for location. Too pricey, amenities are cheaply made and break often; dont waste your time or money. (January 2024)
  17. Its extremely overpriced for subpar apartments. Management is difficult to work w/ & charge for random things w/o telling you or specifying. (January 2024)
  18. Its nice and new, clean and upkept. Very expensive and rates go up every year. Parking is $100/month. (January 2024)
  19. Really nice, but can be expensive and it might not be worth the money. But overall it is a good living space. (January 2024)
  20. The Finmore, aside from price, is all around a clean and welcoming community with several amenities for tenants. (January 2024)
